SALARY: $135K - $165K PLUS 15% BONUS

Looking for a Python application developer to build automation on a GCP platform. So GCP is a huge plus. Logging observability GIT harness testing of frameworks Terraform DevOps React Linux IAC CICD

We are looking for an expert software engineer with platform building and public cloud experience. This role is primarily for GCP, so this would be a distinct advantage, but we're open to other cloud backgrounds such as AWS.

You'll need a deep level of Front End and Back End software development combined with SRE experience to automate away toil and technical debt for our developer community. Mature software practices will be your forte, such as TDD, peer-reviews and pair programming

• As part of the Platform Engineering team, you will be working on a large multi-project GCP environment and developer enablement tooling that our internal application development teams rely on.
• Serve as a software engineering SME for integration, automation, reliability, monitoring, and operations of the overall platform's IaC and CI/CD tooling enablement Developer Experience platform.
• Facilitate the requirements setting for engineering, architecting, design, and support of the platform's integrations
• Collaborate with technology stakeholders and product teams to develop and articulate our vision; as well as deliver and sustain the end-to-end customer experience, in globally distributed platform aligned teams across technology.
• Make heavy use of DevOps tools & approaches, including Terraform Cloud, GitHub Enterprise, Artifactory, Harness, Vault, Packer, etc.

Education/Experience and Competencies

• 7+ years primarily in a software development role with python
• 5+ years of extensive hands-on experience with various industry standard SDLC and Cloud IaC tools and libraries such as Github Enterprise, Terraform Cloud + Sentinel, Jira, Hashicorp Packer & Vault, Splunk, Artifactory, tox, pytest, Jenkins, Harness.io and Azure Active Directory.
• 5+ years of experience designing, developing, and maintaining application system integrations -operating in varied complex application environments, with concepts pertaining to system availability, resiliency, security, and recoverability across Cloud, Linux, Windows and IaaS platforms like Kubernetes with Docker and running service mesh and API gateways.
• Bachelor's Degree in computer science or related technical field
• 5+ years in an enterprise-level infrastructure platform role in security, cloud networking and SDLC related technologies, eg PKI, TLS, DNS, Secrets Management, Ci/CD, RBAC, Remote Access, SSO/OAUTH and DevSecOps code scanning.
• Experience in 1 of the primary public cloud providers is a must. Direct experience in GCP is preferable.
