The Topgolf Media Global Partnerships Intern provides department support for the Client Relations and Sales teams. The Intern is responsible for assisting the department with specific partnership needs including, but not limited to: research, presentations, contract activation, and recaps. This internship will allow students/candidates to learn about various aspects of sponsorships and gain exceptional experience in corporate sales and implementing contract deliverables.

Approximate internship dates:

Start: January 2019

End: May 2019

Part-time, 20 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Client Relations team with partnership account support, included but not limited to: partner activation plans and media dashboards
  • Assist in partner recaps as needed, to include documentation of the delivery and fulfillment of each partner element
  • Assist with tracking partnership inventory and activation, such as signage, in-venue branding, promotions, digital/media, and hospitality
  • Reporting and analysis of partnership activations and departmental initiatives
  • Ownership of a semester long project assigned to you by the Client Relations team
  • Coordination of VIP partner events and invitations
  • Supports Global Partnerships Sales team with prospecting and research
  • Assist with media agency RFPs and sales decks
  • Develop an in-depth knowledge of Topgolf's Corporate Partnerships business model, as well as the company's overall operational strategy and vision
  • Support department with administrative needs, including keeping department information and files up to date

Key Qualifications

Preferred Skills:

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate effectively at all levels, both internally and externally
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with great attention to detail
  • Demonstrate flexibility and quickly adapt to changes while maintaining productivity and effectiveness under pressure
  • Ability to work well within a team environment, offering assistance and support to colleagues whenever necessary

Job Requirements:

  • An enrolled graduate or undergraduate student (Junior or Senior standing) at an accredited school working towards a degree in Sports Administration, Marketing, Communications or a related field of study
  • Ability to receive academic credit from your college or university prior to starting assignment
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Working knowledge of KORE or similar software platform is encouraged, but not required
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Evenings or weekends may be required
  • This is a paid internship with flexible hours (20 hours per week)
