This position is responsible for working with developers and project managers to conduct, document, and report results of tests for assigned systems. In addition, this position is responsible for creating and updating system documentation for assigned projects. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Test Conduct Scheduling and conducting tests Resolving conflicts to meet test objectives Recording any and all constraints on testing Providing full documentation of all deviations from the test plan Capturing all data required to support test findings Test Reporting Producing clear and objective reports of test result data, including how results reflect the system's conformance to the set requirements Suggesting refinements to system requirements Assessing the test process, including methods of improvement System Documentation Creating and updating User Operation Manuals for use by end users Creating and updating Administration and/or Set Up Manuals for use by system administrative staff Suggesting refinements to system documentation Assists development teams in capturing system requirements and specifications for documentation Misc. Acts as back up for conducting system builds and other configuration management responsibilities when necessary Coordinates creation of test plan documents with developers and project managers EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
AA or AS in Computer Science, Engineering or related field preferred 6 months to 1 year of professional testing experience highly preferred 6 months to 1 year of professional technical documentation experience highly preferred SPECIAL SKILLS:
