The Retail Marketing Intern will be responsible for providing the K-State Super Store brand with digital content support including designing collateral, creating copy, blogging, editing photos and social media marketing. Excellent performance could lead to an extended internship or full-time employment. Internship begins Summer 2019 and concludes August 2019. Responsibilities Provide multi-media advertising, collateral design, social media marketing and digital content support to the team. Consistently meet deadlines. Communicate delays or problems within assigned projects. Learn other business functions through shadowing other departments. Complete intern specific training program. Qualifications Minimum Education and Experience Required: Working towards a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field or equivalent experience 1-2 years of graphic design experience, or combination of education and experience Strong knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator Strong attention to detail Strong problem solving and decision -making skills and ability to effortlessly multi-task while working in a fast paced team environment Excellent communication skills, especially visual communication Thorough understanding of the design process, and working knowledge of digital photography Ability to work collaboratively with a number of individuals at numerous professional and experience levels Able to meet deadlines and pro-actively seeks solutions.
