Azure Cloud Infrastructure Analyst (Azure)

Our well established client is seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Infrastructure Analyst to join their team. If you are looking for an exciting challenge working with a great forward-thinking company that has a social purpose at its heart, where your work will end up making a difference to people.

As an Azure Cloud Infrastructure Analyst, you'll be responsible for maintaining the Azure Cloud and infrastructure services and ensuring its security, availability and reliability, as well as day to day incident and problem management of the infrastructure services.

You will be managing changes to the Azure Cloud and network infrastructure to ensure they are kept up to date as well as ensuring the delivery/implementation of agreed technical solutions, plus making sure IT disaster recovery and business continuity is in place and ready!

Location: Hybrid working - 2-3 days a week in London
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: c £50,000 - £55,000 pa + benefits including training
Duration: Permanent full time post

As the Azure Cloud Infrastructure Analyst you will need a positive approach to customer focus and service improvement, accountability for delivering your work and working collaboratively with your colleagues and fellow teammates to develop and manage relationships across IT and within the business.

Essential Skills:

  • Good knowledge in public cloud infrastructure such as Microsoft Azure, including Azure tools such as Azure Backup and Site Recovery, Azure Monitor, Azure Active Directory, Azure Sentinel etc.
  • proven technical expertise and business understanding in a complex hybrid infrastructure environment based on systems hosted internally and externally, including PaaS and SaaS and Azure working within an ITIL Framework.

In addition, you have experience in some/most of the following:

  • Network protocols including the configuration of network Routers and Switches, LAN/WAN, wireless access points, Network and Systems Security.
  • Windows Workstation operating systems, Microsoft Active Directory, Windows 2012/2016 Servers, Office 365 and Exchange online.
  • Microsoft System Centre Suite (SCCM, SCOM, SCSM).
