We are therefore looking for a Business Analyst to help deliver the largest and most complex projects across our business. Join us at this exciting time as we embark on a significant period of change.
Responsibilities
* Gathering, challenging, and documenting business requirements for our project portfolio, working with stakeholders from across the business
* Maintaining a detailed understanding of approved requirements throughout the project lifecycle
* Using a variety of analytical tools, including data analysis, stakeholder interviews, process mapping and others to build a complete understanding of the business
* Rapidly building a detailed knowledge of the CV Library business, our customers, products, and our key business areas
* Partnering with our Product and Technology teams to understand the right level of detail required through our project lifecycle
* Playing a key role in establishing the Business Analysis function, developing ways of working and tools to support our project lifecycle
* Supporting Project Managers and the Programme Director, playing a key role in the ongoing development of the Portfolio function and our ways of working
Requirements
ESSENTIAL
* Proven track record in supporting the delivery technology, enabling business change across an international business
* In depth experience as a Business Analyst on large, complex projects, with a proven ability to challenge business requirements and the status quo, to drive business improvement
* Excellent analytical skills, with a proven ability to bring structure, visibility and alignment to complex business requirements
* Excellent interpersonal & presentation skills, with extensive experience in managing senior stakeholders
* Excellent work ethic and ability to work under own direction
* Significant experience in gathering, documenting, and challenging requirements for large scale transformation projects
* Experience of working with Product teams to help define digital deliverables
* Experience in using a variety of business analysis tools and techniques, including process mapping, prioritisation approaches and facilitating workshops
* Proven experience in working with delivery teams to translate business requirements to project deliverables, providing clarity and transparency throughout the delivery lifecycle
DESIRABLE
* In depth knowledge of Agile and Waterfall Methodologies
* In depth knowledge of IT and digital deliveries, focused on large scale business transformation projects
* Drive delivery by removing blockers, mentoring the team and embedding continuous improvement culture
* Excellent stakeholder management skills, interacting with colleagues at all levels across the business
