Your new company
I've been engaged on an exclusive project to recruit a number of React Engineers to join a FinTech scale-up business with offices in Poole or in Central London. These roles can be anything up to 4 days remote, the choice is yours. They are hiring at Senior Developer or Tech Lead level.
It's a technology first organisation involved in concepts around Big Data, Cloud/DevOps, Real Time Streaming, AI and alike.
Your new role
You'll be involved in developing new features to enhance the existing Front End product using the latest React technologies/ecosystem. You'll also port and realise Legacy features from Angular into React. The team are responsible for a GraphQL API built in Node.js and Apollo which interacts with a microservice Back End layer.
Working in a small but hugely talented UI team your key mandate will be to create an entirely new user experience and engineer the UI with the best and latest technologies. Working here you'll have influence over the end product and technical decision-making.
You'll be working with some of the best technical minds in this field locally, running a mature adoption of Agile with a truly progressive build pipeline moving towards automation that is ahead of the competition. What you'll need to succeed
In the role you'll work with Redux, Styled Components, Apollo and GraphQL. Any experience working with Back End systems such as Node.js, REST or GraphQL will serve you well.
It's important you subscribe to clean coding principles and have a test first mentality looking at Cypress and Unit Testing. User Experience (UX) and visual design skills will also be beneficial.
At Tech Lead level you'll be 80% hands on, 20% mentoring, writing JIRAs and involved in technical decision making.
