Customer Services/Field Services Coordinator

office based not remote. Monday - Friday 9am-5.30 with a requirement to work overtime at a weekend on a rota basis that will be remote .

the role is on a 3-6 month temporary role, there is the potential of extension and potential permanent opportunities

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Customer Services/Field Services Coordinator to join well established blue chip organisation at their prestigious offices in Peterborough.

As a Customer Services Coordinator you will have excellent coordination and administration skills and your customer service skills will be second to none!


To use tools and information available to assign customer calls to the most appropriate engineer available to achieve SLA.

To allocate or order parts using our client systems to ensure calls can be attended and resolved within SLA.

To effectively liaise with customers and ensure call notes are accurate and up to date.

To provide customer reporting for key customers and suppliers.

To effectively liaise with internal departments to ensure that issues are resolved successfully.

Escalating incidents as required meeting required SLAs.

To participate in specific projects across the organisation as may reasonably be requested.

To provide a courteous and professional response to all calls - receiving and logging updates from our clients engineers, Service Desk, Workshop, Purchasing department, Third Party Suppliers and Customers.


* Excellent customer service and customer handling skills.
* Excellent communication and telephone skills
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and MS Office products, (eg: MS Word and Excel).
* Strong time management, multi-tasking and prioritisation skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Strong attention to detail in updating call details
* Assertive, methodical, confident, positive and professional manner.
* Strong administration and organisational skills.
* Flexible, co-operative attitude to work and change.
* Good problem solving skills.
* Experienced PC user with good keyboard skills.
