Remuneration/ Pay rate: £40k per year + bonus


Based at our Watford office, the successful candidate will be working alongside the estimators to ensure quarterly sales target are met. Being ambitious is key as there is plenty of scope to progress through the business whilst at the same time taking advantage of the commission scheme, product knowledge is key and the ability to build relationship with our clients is also an asset. We are looking for a team player who is hungry to do well and help us grow to the next level.


* Working as part of a team, you will produce high value tenders covering all aspects of architectural glass & glazing whilst managing the estimating department and actively seeking new clients

* Carefully inspecting tender documentation and analysing exact requirements and identify areas that we can provide quotations on.

* Ensuring quotations are submitted professionally and accurately reflect and demonstrate what has been included.

* Ability to extract information from tender drawings to allow quotations to be prepared and submitted.

* Work from bills of quantities or simply tender drawings i.e. design & build basis.

* Ability to maintain & develop professional relationships with current clients as well as sourcing new clients to help future business development.

* Promote further tender invitations.

* Ability to think outside the box & value engineer schemes.

* Ability to print off drawings using plotters to allow accurate “take-offs” to be carried out.

* Chasing up clients for information / queries.

* Attend tender review meetings daily with company directors to agree prices prior to issuing quotations.


* Experience in sales for the construction industry is a necessity to understand construction tender drawings.

* Liaison with clients by phone and occasionally through site visits.

* Strong knowledge of Microsoft word and Excel
