Clontarf Hospital provides rehabilitation for orthopaedic and older persons transferred from the acute Dublin hospitals. In collaboration with the acute hospitals on Dublin's Northside and in line with the HSE National Clinical Programmes, Clontarf Hospital is developing Older Person and Orthopaedic rehabilitation services.
We are looking to recruit a highly skilled, motivated and enthusiastic locum Senior Radiographer who has experience in a Rehabilitation of the Older Person setting to join our Clontarf Hospital Team.

Position: Senior Radiographer - Locum Cover

Salary range: Senior Radiographer HSE Oct 2018 Salary Scale
Reporting to: The Chief Executive Officer
1.Be professionally responsible for all aspects of the post holders own work.
2.To undertake the assessment and appropriate radiography management and/or treatment of patients.
3.Help in the organization and co-ordination of the workflow within the department.
4.To keep abreast in understanding and knowledge of all new developments which are applicable to the general radiography treatments.
5.Admin duties are required.
6.Experienced in PACS is essential.
7.Stand Alone Role.
8.To maintain accurate clinical records as required.
9.To be responsible for and take care of all equipment including auxiliary equipment and to operate such equipment as required by the treatment plan in a proper and safe manner. To report any faults in equipment to the Health and Safety Committee as soon as possible.
10.To participate in any research studies, research or audits as required.
11.To be conversant with relevant Health & Safety Legislation and promote the ALARA principle.
12.Staff are required to attend certain courses which are relevant to their profession. Details of which will be provided to you by your line manager.
13.Maintain good communication channels will all levels of staff throughout the hospital
Candidates must possess:
(a)(i) B.Sc (Hons) degree in Radiography from the Updated by HR - April 2018 University of Dublin or
(b)(ii) DC (R) degree from the College of Radiographers London or equivalent and
(c)(iii) Have or be in the process of getting your qualification validated by CORU
(d)3 Years Post graduate qualification experience.
(e)Possess the requisite knowledge and ability for the proper discharge of the post
