Job Advert We are looking to recruit to the post of Training Officer, Social Work Adult Services.
Your duties will include regular direct delivery of Moving and Handling training, some delivery of BSS Managing Challenging Behaviour sessions, organising sessions delivered by external trainers and designing, developing and delivering training resources for Social Work Adult Services Staff. There are also opportunities to provide multi agency training, learning and development activities. You must be willing and able to complete training and recertification with Centaur for Moving and Handling training (or equivalent) and Instructor training and recertification for BSS for Managing Challenging Behaviour. This will require travelling to the regional or national courses depending on the availability and location of the initial training. (Employer funded).

The post requires established experience of Adult Health and Social Care, a relevant professional qualification and capacity to regularly deliver and assess training. The post is open to external and internal applicants or for secondment, subject to Service approval.

If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to gain/maintain PVG scheme membership.
