Michael Page Technology are delighted to have partnered with a global leading financial services organisation to support them with the recruitment of a M365 Technical Specialist, to play a key role in a global 365 roll out.


What you'll be doing:

As M365 Technical Specialist you will play a critical role ensuring that all aspects of the platform are managed and supported including the day-to-day operational availability of the service. You will also help to drive the change program and ensure the M365 platform is delivering the best possible productivity experience for our users.

Key responsibilities of the role:

  • Ensuring the operational readiness and health of the M365 platform, including non-functional aspects, availability, performance, security, and maintenance
  • Work closely with the Scrum master to delivery on items within the product and sprint back log
  • Report reoccurring problems and analyse for trends that will help with problem management
  • Proven experience of supporting multiple M365 features
  • Troubleshoot M365 issues that advise and escalated to the M365 product team
  • Continuously looking for opportunities to automate or improve M365 processes especially focused to enhance our users experience of the platform
  • Proactive development on the M365 features to improve the adoption of the platform.
  • Be a strong advisor throughout the life cycle of projects, use your knowledge to delivery key cadence of change for the M365 platform.
  • Produce and contribute to regular status updates and reports of the platform
  • Ensure the technical documentation is maintained and can easier be interpreted by wider technical teams.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work in organisations with multiple M365/on-premises Microsoft Services
  • Demonstrate the ability to engage and alise with stakeholders across a large programme of change.
  • Experience in M365 Management portals tools including Intune, Azure AAD, Active Directory
  • Clearly demonstrate experience in administration of M365 platforms


Key Skills:

  • Excellent knowledge of O365 technologies, supporting in a large enterprise
  • Certification on O365 is preferred
  • Experience with working with different cultures is preferred
  • Proven Soultion and proving solving characteristics
  • Experience in providing technical support to IT team and excellence in end-user support
  • Desired specialist SME in one or two of the M365 features (eg, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Exchange online, Microsoft SharePoint)
  • Experience of migrating Exchange to O365
  • Desired, experience of managing and supporting Power platform's
  • Demonstrate the ability to form key relationships and collaborations with IT managers, third parties and country technical teams.
  • Experience with 0365 migrations and on-boarding activities.
  • Experience working in EUC teams (Desirable)
  • Experience working within agile and product-based structures (Desirable)
  • Experience of the following: Exchange, SharePoint, One Drive for Business, Teams (desirable)
  • Experience with 3rd party tooling such as Mimecast M365 backup soultion and M365 delegation tooling.
  • Confident individual with the good interpersonal skills, able to deal with people at all levels and communicate to users in a clear, non-technical language
  • Proven ability to lead technical teams
  • Ability to work under pressure, upholding a positive work environment while ability to set realistic priorities

Job Offer


£70,000 - £95,000 per annum


Remote (UK)
