A Leading financial institution are looking to bring on an senior ServiceNow engineer to join their Service management team on a 12+ month contract.

While under contract with them you will be working under a dual hat arrangement and will be working for both the banking and securities business and will hold the same responsibilities which include the development and the operational delivery of the service across the group while upholding the quality of the service.

Responsibilities

  • Technical management of the ServiceNow Product suite.
  • Act as the central point of contact for all Service Now enhancement and integrations requests.
  • Responsible for translating business requirements into ServiceNow technical solutions
  • Build strong working relationships with all stakeholders and act as an SME on the ServiceNow Platform
  • Responsible for ServiceNow enhancements and integrations
  • Responsible for all audit and IT Security requirements (EMEA and Tokyo Head Office requirements)
  • Ensuring a smooth transition for all processes and creating/delivering the technical roadmaps taking into account strategic plans
  • Support the structure for ServiceNow and identify opportunities for enhancements/efficiencies
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining documentation including Policy, Process, Procedures and supporting detailed technical reference material.
  • Ensure all relevant training materials and guides are available for the tool.

Experience

  • 5+ years Banking experience
  • ITAM experience essential
  • ServiceNow Admin Certified as a minimum. Advanced ServiceNow certifications preferred
  • ITIL Foundation as minimum, Cobit Governance
  • Agile Development
  • Industry experience managing ServiceNow instances, including planning, development, deployments and upgrades
