Permanent Conferencing Assistant

Granta Park, Great Abington

£19,500 per annum

I am currently recruiting on behalf of our client based on Granta Park, Great Abginton who are seeking a Conferencing Assistant to join their events team. This is a full time position, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.

As Conferencing Assistant you will play a crucial part in the catering service which caters for up to 600 customers daily.

Main Duties:

Setting up meeting rooms, ensuring they are presented well

Checking availability for bookings

Providing excellent customer service to guests

Greeting and serving guests during events

Ensuring all areas are tidy and presentable

Other ad hoc administration duties as required

Our client are ideally looking for candidates with experience working in a similar hospitality position however candidates with the following skill set will also be considered;

Excellent level of customer service and experience working in a customer facing role

Strong communication skills

Ability to work effectively under pressure

Willingness to go above and beyond with each task
