Food Chemistry Manager

This Brigg Scientific client are currently recruiting for a permanent Food Chemistry Manager for their main UK site in Northamptonshire. The role involves working within Food Safety Standards and Regulatory Developments. Key areas include Manufacturing, New Product Development and quality.

Additional duties include the development and validation of complex chemical analysis to support the brand. Risk Assessments, Sampling Plans, Test methods, Analytical instrumentation (HPLC, GC and MS), reviewing COSSH, DSEAR and PUWER all comes under the remit of this role.

This role also fulfils the duties of a UKAS Quality Manager.

This role will suit an experienced Analytical Chemist with experience of GC, HPLC and MS, who has gained experience in Method Development and Validation, who has then gone on to manage Laboratories and systems.
