Salary: £21,000 per annum - plus travel costs
Hours of work: 40hrs per week. Hours of work will be as required - 5 days out of 7 (Mainly daytime)

Atalian Servest are recruiting for a Relief Chef Manager to work under our Catering Academy brand over a group of Healthcare sites.

We are looking for strong Chef Managers who have excellent cooking skills that can work in small teams or is happy to work on their own. You will be providing a lunchtime service for between 30-75 depending on the site

Responsibilities of role

Working under the guidance of an experienced Area Manager, the role will be ideal for someone who wants to develop their career.

As the Relief Chef Manager within Catering Academy you will be required to provide and maintain an efficient service under all areas of your control, following company values, policies and procedures

-Relief/support cover as directed by the Area Manager
-Preparation and service of food and beverages using seasonal, fresh ingredients and working within the financial parameters of the contract
-Provide total support as required to the manager and team on site, ensuring that all standard company bookwork and procedures have been set up and adhered to. All training must be documented within relevant team academy handbooks.
-Continually promote excellent standards of food preparation and presentation to meet the needs of existing and new customers in order to drive additional sales
-Implement and maintain statutory and company standards of hygiene, food safety and health & safety
-Establish and maintain effective working relationships both with company individuals and client personnel at all levels
-Work within, manage and develop a team to ensure service excellence at all times (across various outlets)
-Effectively manage a small team, delivering an exceptional service.
-Actively working with the client and customers on themed events.

We are looking for someone with experience of catering within the healthcare sector.

-Be a real foodie with passion and enthusiasm for fresh food and great service by adopting personcentred principles
-Be driven by excellence and attention to detail
-Be both creative and innovative demonstrating up to date with current trends
-Be naturally outgoing and energetic with an ability to train and inspire
-Be financially astute and an ability to work within targets
-Demonstrate confidence with a Can do attitude
-Have extensive experience within the healthcare sector
-Knowledge of special diets, particularly related to elderly adults
-Knowledge and experience of running a pass
-Knowledge and experience of catering to texture modified diets
-Have a passion to continually drive sales via seeking customer feedback and introducing new initiatives
-Knowledge and experience of using computers to produce general correspondence and where practicable forward by electronic mail. Copies of all correspondence to be sent to the relevant office so that it can be filed appropriately
