Our client, an international company in the fashion industry in the Zurich surrounding, is looking for a Regional Sales Director with starting date asap.


  • Taking a lead role in building a strong customer relation culture
  • Coaching Market Leaders and Regional Managers, identifying skills and opportunities for development; providing advice and guidance on shop manager issues when needed
  • Understand the competitive landscape and market trends
  • Actively partnering with all Heads of Service to continuously support the Customer service strategy, including unique Store experience
  • Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products
  • Increase yearly revenues with new Commercial and Business solutions and new market opportunities
  • Proactively managing and reviewing the performance and progress of Market Leaders and their countries, setting objectives and targets
  • Complete market research and analyze results to adjust sales and marketing strategy for maximum success
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with key clients, including negotiating and closing on major contracts
  • Influencing and supporting the retail element of the annual budget process ensuring understanding from the operations team. Constantly reviews financial data and provides realistic input into the sales budgets
  • Translating the strategic goals into retail operational plans to achieve the required targeted growth in sales and profit
  • Maintaining and constantly developing innovative and cost effective stock generation; monitoring stock weekly to achieve bottom line sales budget against monthly targets
  • Maintain sales staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting and training employees. As well as counseling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring and appraising job results
  • Managing Visual Merchandising to give highest value to the collection in the stores.
  • Ability to identify and solve client issues strategically
  • Up to 60% travel required
  • Requirements:
  • Bachelor degree / Master Degree in Business Administration / International Management / Sales Management or similar
  • years of experience within Sales
  • Previous experience in senior sales role with demonstrated ability to meet or exceed targets
  • Experience in the retail fashion industry and in leading teams
  • German and English is a must have, any other language especially French or Italian would be an asset
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work to tight deadlines
  • Demonstrated skill in negotiating and closing on critical sales contracts
  • Client-focused person with strong attention to detail
