An Information and Records Officer is required for our medical sector client based in Manchester to support with the planning and implementation of the EDRMS project and assist with the migration to Cloud Systems.

Main Responsibilities
. Analysing substantial amounts of migration data to develop a new records architecture that meets current SharePoint requirements.
. Develop and maintain effective relationships across the organisation
. Contribute towards the records migration plan
. Perform complex pre and post migration data analysis and data validation activities
. Develop, agree and implement consistent naming conventions, retention periods and metadata capture.
. Update and maintain databases via project management software, such as Planner, Teams, SharePoint, or Project Online.
. Collecting, understanding, and transmitting the business requirements for the project, and translating these into functional specifications and developing detailed test plans.

Essential Key Skills
. Excellent Record keeping skills
. Excellent Organisation skills
. Experience with SharePoint, Microsoft Office 365,Teams, Outlook and Excel
. Analytical abilities with Experience of business analysis, identifying system requirements and translating to functional specifications
. Experience reviewing and updating information and records management writing procedures, training materials and guidance
. Sound understanding of GDPR and the DPA and how they apply to Information and Records management
. Knowledge of Opentext EDRMS (Livelink) and AvePoint Cloud Records would be beneficial
