A rare and exciting opportunity to join an award winning kitchen. Our client is based in Polegate, a country pub with an Organic farm. They believe in a healthy work/life balance and offer 2 days off every week in a row. They will provide a full induction and ongoing training and support to assist you.
* 2+ years' culinary experience in a high quality, fast paced restaurant/ gastropub
* Knowledge of best practices for training kitchen staff and implementing kitchen procedures
* High level of creativity and reliability
Whether you are currently a Junior Sous Chef or a Chef de Partie looking to develop your career, you will have at least 1 to 2 relevant years experience in a similar kitchen environment and have the passion, skills and ambition to thrive in a fast paced kitchen.
You will be working on average around 45 hours per week, with shifts around 10am to 3pm and 5pm to 10pm.
The basic salary is between 22 and 25k depending on experience. Tips are usually around 5-6k.
You may be required to showcase your cooking skills at interview, so please have your knifes and chef whites handy.
Due to the location of the pub, it is essential that you have a Driving License and vehicle
