Victim Support is recruiting a full time Performance and Data Analyst within our Knowledge and Insight team to work with Contract Managers across Wales and the West of England to drive performance and support national insight and strategy.

Victim Support (VS) is an independent charity for people affected by crime in England and Wales. We work towards a world where people affected by crime or traumatic events get the support they need and respect they deserve.

The post holder will produce, analyse, interpret and report on service performance, and data quality, based on regional and national data. They will identify and produce insights, trends, opportunities for change and improvement to the quality of data and performance at local, regional and national level.

They will provide practical and objective support to Contract Managers across Wales and West of England Police Force Areas in understanding and addressing the causes of poor performance. The successful applicant will work collaboratively to put in place time bound action plans and monitoring arrangements which meet both local and organisational priorities.

Applicants must have extensive experience of working with reporting packages (Business Objects etc), databases (SQL etc) and programming (XML, JavaScript, or ETL frameworks).
