A permanent opportunity for a full-time Secretary based within a busy and corporate firm in Ipswich
Your new company
You will be working for a leading Finance organisation based in Ipswich. This firm is very corporate and commercial, so the ideal candidate may have previous experience in a legal practice or in corporate finance. You will be working alongside the audit PA to provide full administrative support.
Your new role
My client is looking for an experience hire to work on a full time basis, Monday to Friday, covering hours 09:00- 17:15. You will be responsible for providing full secretarial support. This includes diary management on a daily basis, so that you know the whereabouts of the team at all times. You will coordinate meetings and ensure travel time slots are allocated. You will be responsible for deadline management for the audit team, document control, expenses and filing, and you will help ensure that the Relationship management system is accurate and kept up to date (producing bills for key clients).
What you'll need to succeed
Experience of corporate systems. Good computer literacy and the ability to edit letters and draft documents. Strong secretarial skills and a typing speed of 50-60 wpm. Dept at multi-tasking, good personal skills and communication skills. You must be discreet at handling information. Experience working for an accountant or legal firm would be an advantage. Strong work ethic is essential.
