BKUK Group is a new entity formed after the private equity firm Bridgepoint Capital purchased the master franchisee rights of the brand in the UK as well as acquiring a major franchisee.

The Senior Finance Analyst - Property & Capex is responsible for all reporting, analysis and accounting processes relating to New Site Openings (NSO) and all other Capex management. This will include project appraisal, supporting the Property team's presentation to the Company's Board, to ensure financial rigour and commercial analysis. Managing the development budget for NSO (over £20m annually), this role offers a uniquely rounded opportunity.
Reporting into the Strategic Finance Director, this role will bridge the Strategic Financial Analysis, Property and Financial Accounting teams.
Essential Qualifications and Requirements
Qualified accountant (ACA), Top 10 background, 3 Years PQE
Previous experience of QSR industry
Extensive experience with CAPEX accounting
Previous experience of management accounts and reconciliations, general ledger and accounting systems in a QSR
Previous exposure to franchised business models
Advanced Microsoft Office skills particularly Excel and PowerPoint, and previous experience with SAP.
Previous experience with location planning tools eg. Insite Caci and Location Edge
The successful candidate must:
Be a confident and pro-active communicator with the ability to effectively interact with non-finance personnel and members of the Senior Leadership team and Board.
Have a keen attention to detail and constantly interrogate outputs to drive monthly improvements, considering changing business needs.
Have previous experience in managing large budgets.
Be able to hold Senior Budget Holders to account on spend in accordance with the budget and Company Policy.
Have strong analytical and reconciliation skills with commercial and business acumen
Be able to prioritise and manage multiple projects in an often-pressurised environment
Have Project/Investment appraisal experience (to include new site development and capex projects)
Have experience of working in a high growth/start-up, Private equity backed environment
Be able to use logic, critical thinking and deductive reasoning
The ability to operate effectively across diverse cultural and business environments
Be capable of working effectively across all levels of the organisation, from junior members to the Board.
