Due to continued success, we are looking for a competent Maintenance Supervisor to manage the full maintenance function across a number of our properties. The goal is to ensure that facilities are always in a good and safe condition. For both staff and customers alike.
A Maintenance Supervisor must be reliable and have a great eye for detail. They must have technical skills and extensive knowledge of various crafts such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical etc. Leadership skills and knowledge of administrative tasks such as scheduling, obtaining quotations, using a P.O system and use of a CMMS system are also essential for this position. You will also be responsible for hiring and training staff and ensuring the smooth running of upkeep or repair operations.
• Inspect facilities periodically to determine problems and necessary maintenance / upkeep
•Use of CMMS system to allocate work orders and to gain reports from
•Prepare weekly maintenance schedules and allocate work
•Recruit, supervise and train maintenance technicians
•Hire and supervise tradesmen during installations, repairs or maintenance (electricians, plumbers etc.)
•Inspect and maintain building systems (heating, ventilation etc.)
•Contribute to the development of Maintenance budgets and ensure compliance
•Monitor inventory of materials and equipment
•Participate in coordination of projects (e.g. renovations)
•Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations
• Proven experience as Maintenance Supervisor, Team Leader or similar role
•Background in hospitality / rental properties preferred
•Strong technical knowledge of all building systems (electrical, heating etc.)
•Knowledge of Health & Safety practices and regulations
•Understanding of budgeting and performance management
•Excellent planning and leadership abilities; ability to delegate tasks efficiently
•An eye for detail
•Tech savvy with proven experience across a number of PO and CMMS systems
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Location: Dublin city centre with responsibility for 7 properties
Hours: Initially 5 days out of 7 including weekends but will settle back to 9-5pm Monday to Friday in time.
