Head of PMO
Posted on Feb 2, 2019 by Allen Lane
The Trust is required to deliver significant efficiency savings in 2018/19. Plans to deliver some of these savings have been developed and the Trust is currently developing additional plans to ensure it successfully meets the savings target. Reporting the Deputy Chief Executive you will lead the PMO in its four key functions:
- To set up programme monitoring systems
- To provide reports and updates of the monitoring system
- To communicate exceptions to relevant individuals and committees
- To co-ordinate responses
You will be an individual with the drive and gravitas to help establish and lead a high-performing PMO function, and should be able to demonstrate a record of delivery in a projects and programme environment. Additionally, you will have considerable experience in building and sustaining high-performing teams and a proven track record in assuring organisational-wide programmes of work. Owing to the necessity to hit the ground running, NHS experience is highly preferable and strong communication skills will be essential.
This role will offer the chance to work with a dynamic team and will add weight to your CV for future roles.
The role is anticipated to sit outside IR35.
