Fixed term contract until 31 August 2020

Term time only (195 days), part time 27.5 hours, 8am 2pm (with 30 minute unpaid break)

SC2, £19,311 - £20,001 FTE

The City of London Primary Academy Islington (COLPAI) is a two-form entry school which opened in September 2017 and is situated in the heart of one of the most vibrant areas of Islington. We are the newest primary school in the City of London Academies Trust, where pupils have achieved Outstanding results, ranking the City of London and the Trust as the top performing academy chain in the country for progress and attainment for disadvantaged children. Our school is partnered with the City of London School for Girls (CLSG), an ISI Outstanding rated independent school.

COLPAI temporarily occupies part of the new Moreland Primary School site while our brand new, state of the art school is built on the former Richard Cloudesley school site near to Golden Lane, EC1. We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed General School Assistant to support the supervision of our pupils, as well as assisting with duties within the school office.

The successful candidate will be:

  • Responsible and committed to supervising our Reception and Y1 pupils and promoting their safety and welfare around the school.

  • Courteous, organised and efficient in supporting receptionist and porterage duties.

  • Passionate, enthusiastic and dedicated to providing a high level of service and care to the school community and its visitors.
