With responsibility for providing HR support to all levels of staff, including Senior Management in the absence of the HR Manager, the position requires a self-motivated HR professional with highly effective communication and time management skills and the ability to influence at all levels.
Your role will consist of, but will not be restricted to the following:
Support HR and other Departmental Managers with HR advice to deliver best practise in policies, legislation and Employee Relations.
Prepare weekly and monthly management information for all sites of business.
Provide advisory service to all employees on company employment policies and procedures.
Monitor and maintain information system.
Provide a seamless administrative service to ensure implementation of company HR policies and procedures.
Conduct inductions, exit interviews,disciplinary and mediation processes.
Provide HR presence at other group sites as and when required.
Attend training courses as and where necessary to ensure personal and team job skills keep pace with legislative and business developments.
Achieve deadlines as set by the company.
Maintain confidentiality at all times.
The ideal candidate will have experience within HR functions and be qualified to CIPD level 5, although Level 7 would be excellent.
You will be an effective communicator on all levels either by telephone, face to face or email.
You will be a proficient user of Microsoft in particular advanced Excel and HR Information Systems.
You will have the ability to manage difficult situations and resolve escalations.
Able to prioritise and organise your time effectively and efficiently.
Be of smart appearance and able to travel to other sites when required.
