The Role
The candidate will be reporting to the Managing Director or whomever is appropriate and will proudly take on the task of being the voice of inspiratia's analysis, spearheading the direction of our content. The successful candidate will actively be working towards expanding inspiratia's coverage, growing and leading the research team in identifying rising trends that will define the future of the industry.
Responsibilities include:
• Develop long-standing and fruitful relationships with industry-leading companies, new and existing senior executives across the globe • Periodically assess investment climate and industry developments, strategically amending the editorial calender as needed to keep inspiratia's coverage relevant, and generate ideas for white papers and bespoke research proposals • Provide leadership to analyst team, directing research to effectively cover market trends that are timely and valuable for subscribers • Contribute to the editorial calendar (minimum once a month) as head of the team, publishing engaging opinion pieces or research either through written articles or podcasts • Ensure content governance and brand guidelines are followed by overseeing and reviewing content style and tone of analysts' work • Ensure team complies with editorial law regarding copyright, data protection and plagiarism • Identify gaps in expertise and improve the team's quality of research with topical or skill-based training opportunities • Ensure existing content products (periodic reports, data dashboards, indices, etc.) are well resourced and kept up to date • Support commercial team with wider understanding of the market by aligning research and data products into commercially attractive packages, and using sector/market knowledge during demos and client proposal • Support conference production team with market trends and insights to keep inspiratia events relevant, and participate in the execution (panel moderation, lead webinars and briefings etc.) • Work closely with marketing team in developing strategies that will increase inspiratia's readership across all services
• Senior editorial/research/publishing background in the energy or infrastructure industry • Have a relentless drive and desire to be the very best at what they do • Are curious about people and love to speak, build and nurture relations within the team and externally • Experience in project/product or report management • Are an excellent communicator (especially) verbally and in writing • Knowledgeable in corporate finance, project finance, and the M&A market • Experience managing diverse teams • Great attention to detail • Extra languages are not essential, but will be advantageous • Familiarity with social media
