Data Architect/Modeller

Hybrid and flexible working arrangements

£50,000 + per annum

What you'll be doing:

  • Providing architectural guidance, oversight, and assurance to Datamodelling.
  • Working with business stakeholders to drive the adoption of Datamodelling standards and tooling.
  • Analysing and translating business needs, creating coherent conceptual, logical and/or physical data models for relevant domains in the organization.
  • Creating and maintaining the enterprise level business information model, Datamodelling standards, tooling, model repository management, and contributing to physical data models for new systems, models.
  • Supporting the Enterprise Data Architect in the creation, realisation, and management of an end-to-end data architecture.

Your skills and experiences:

Essential

  • Experience in data/information modelling
  • Understanding of metamodels, taxonomies, ontologies, and challenges of applying structured techniques (Datamodelling) to less-structured sources
  • Ability to present information concisely and to clearly identify key issues.

Desirable

  • Experience in data architecture/analysis/engineering or equivalent roles
  • Practiced at leading Datamodelling workshops, including defining business requirements, creating models, and reviewing output with stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including negotiation and influencing skills, credible at senior management level.
