Product Proposition Manager/Product Manager, Marketing, B2C, Exeter

Product Proposition Manager you will be helping us to scale our business and support the customer acquisition, retention and ARPU strategy. This is a role that would suit someone looking for autonomy, accountability and disruptive innovation.

As an experienced commercial Product Manager you will be responsible for the life cycle management of propositions including setting budgets, targets and delivery timelines in order to manage the development and launch of new broadband packages and value-added products and services.

You will be responsible for helping to build a successful growth strategy; formulate innovative pricing; and maximise the capability of the technical teams that help you build new offerings.

Job Description:

Key duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Owning and life cycle managing a product portfolio encompassing B2C and B2B broadband and incremental value-add services such as Wi-Fi and fixed voice
  • Collecting and analysing market research data and applying it to current projects
  • Working with the insights team to develop relevant data requirements and research competitive offerings
  • Developing and delivering product strategy that drives customer value, revenue, growth and retention
  • Building business cases that support the development of new propositions
  • Defining and developing relevant quantitative and qualitive KPIs that support monthly tracking of business area's performance and decision-making that optimises long-term business performance
  • Leading the design and delivery of new propositions to market, by articulating requirements of new propositions and working collaboratively with the product and software development teams to shape feasible technical solutions
  • Driving the pricing of propositions and devising bundling of products and services working closely with the Head of Sales
  • Owning and keeping up to date all proposition-related documentation, including terms and conditions, product descriptions, product specification and pricing
  • Presenting ideas, propositions and business performance metrics to all levels in the business

Required Knowledge & Qualifications:

Essential:

  • A degree in marketing, business administration or related
  • Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of consumer and business product propositions ideally in a telecoms, energy, finance or similar background
  • Experience leading cross-divisional teams in creating and articulating customer centric and commercially sound value propositions
  • Experience in successful delivery of commercial product propositions & offers to support the hypergrowth stage of a business' development
  • Experience working with a data driven and analytical approach to measuring product performance, prioritising work, across the product life cycle.
  • Experience in driving successful client retention and demand generation product offers, working closely with key stakeholders in the wider business (Again for Product Offer Manager)
  • Extensive expertise in quantitative analysis and the presentation of data, to see beyond the numbers and understand how users interact with products, identify growth opportunities and execute projects to drive growth and engagement
