Internal Account Manager

Responsibilities:

Create and operate to a robust business plan in alignment with the Company's aims

Using business plan to prioritise and actively re-negotiate lapsed contracts and set up new contracts where no agreement is in place

Implement strategies with support from the After Sales Manager for new services and products as well as analysing business needs and seeking new opportunities for growth

Conduct strategic account reviews to drive growth and profitability

Managing the delivery of projects to agreed deadlines

Addressing client concerns and handling calls that require manager involvement

Increase the revenue and profitability of accounts through optimisation and efficiency's

Managing supplier relationships specific to your accounts

On-going maintenance of customer database and pipeline

Weekly reporting to your manager on sales activity, key customer advancements, aged debt and updated pipeline opportunities

Achievement of set individual quarterly sales targets

Understand clients' needs and how we can assist in meeting their strategic goals using our proposed solutions

Monitor company service delivery to ensure this is consistent with contractual obligations

Build, develop and maintain productive and professional relationships with key decision makers in account base through regular communication and occasional meetings.

Maintain high customer satisfaction levels that meet company standards

Work closely with other departments and divisions to ensure customer satisfaction and problem resolution

Manage product/service mix, pricing and margins to agreed aims through contract renegotiation

Plan and orchestrate regular promotional activity at site level with the assistance of Marketing and the After Sales Manager.

Success in achieving set objectives including margin attainment and minimising cost

Strong communication skills to include relationship building, influencing and negotiating skills

Proven self-motivation and discipline with the ability to work as part of as team

Strong attention to detail and excellent organisation skills

Professional demeanour and engaging interpersonal skills

Commercially minded with an eye for detail

To work with pace and urgency and complete all tasks in a timely manner

Hours 40 hours per week (8.30 am till 5.00 pm, Monday to Friday)

Salary £19,000 - £21,000 (dependant on experience) + commission
