An experienced Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer required in Leamington Spa benefitting from a salary of £25,000 to £27,000, dependant on experience.

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join an international engineering brand in Leamington Spa. The Maintenance Engineer will need to be multiskilled having hands on experience of large machinery, ideally in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of both pneumatics and hydraulics along with being a trained electrician to the 17th edition is ideal.

The Maintenance Engineer will work with the maintenance team on the day to day requirement's and activities for the facility incorporating safety, operation support and production. Supporting process improvements that optimize team work to achieve targets, quality levels and premier customers

Job Responsibilities:

Ensure that facility activities are conducted in a safe manner and comply with the requirements of the Health and Safety Legislation
Support the day to day facility activities within the facility to meet maximum operations capacity and production effectiveness
Involvement in the future planning of facility infrastructure and production requirements and ensuring smooth transition of projects
Support the maintenance team
Ensure that facility support is achieved through effective planning, TPM and task coordination
Coordinate with manufacturing, engineering and operations to ensure expectations are understood and standards maintained
Work with and maintain visual management systems and team improvement boards that drive business success
Undertake problem solving activities across the business
Maintain a positive, disciplined, engaged and empowered team environment
Utilising HPT principles
Promote effective lean principles and be a driving influence in the process of continual improvement

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

Relevant manufacturing/engineering qualification; HND, BTEC or NVQ in maintenance and facility support
Completed a fully indentured apprenticeship within a mechanical/electrical/electronic discipline
At least 5 years' experience in Facility/maintenance working
Safety qualifications (IOSH) and practical experience
Pragmatic and hands on mentality with a positive and pro-active attitude
Knowledge and experience of lean methodology and process improvements
Excellent communication, team working and problem-solving skills
Results driven with excellent planning and organizational skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Ability to coordinate and facilitate activities of a multi-disciplined team

Working Hours

Mon-Thurs 8.00am - 4.30pm (30 minutes lunch)

Fri 8.00am - 1.00pm
