Are you an experienced support worker who is ready for a new challenge and would like to work for a cutting edge women's mental health organisation? If so this may be the role for you!

We are recruiting for experienced female floating support workers to work with women who have severe mental health and other additional needs. The main function of the role is to support women to sustain their existing accommodation or to re settle into new accommodation as well as providing floating support to women living in our flats in management to support them to develop independent living skills and to move on into longer term accommodation.

You will be working in certain areas of Bristol or where there is a need to support clients so a full driving licence and access to a car is essential for the role.

Your potential employer has been established for over 30 years and they provide a range of housing and support needs to women that either have acute or long-term mental health needs. They also support women who are homeless or have a history of sleeping rough or whose housing is at risk because of their mental health issues.

As an experienced support worker you would have worked in supported housing previously, ideally with women who are vulnerable, conducted assessments and managed caseloads confidently.

Part of the role would require you to be able to hold an out of hours phone and respond to any emergencies, including visits, for one week in approx. every 12 weeks. The hours are k 9-5pm Monday- Fridays in floating or 9-5pm or 12- 8pm Monday- Friday and one Saturday in approx. every 6 weeks 10-4pm shift (will have a day off the following Friday).

An enhanced DBS check is essential.
