Finance Consultant - ERP

Ultimately you will be tasked with helping the MD / FD of each client understand how they would benefit from ERP - you will play a significant role in defining what they would want from it and how they would use it.
You would do this as part of a presales team (alongside sales & marketing people) to shape and scope the client brief.
To that end you could expect to spend a few days with each client - mainly based around the UK - understanding their operation from a finance point of view.
It doesn't matter where you have gained this experience - although if you came from the manufacturing section and thus understood BOM, costings & margin and supplier payment dates then it would be advantageous.
It would also help if you have had experience of ERP in some guise.
You will need to have a detailed understanding of financial processes and have been in a role where you could genuinely influence change.
This might have been as a consultant or may have been 'in house' - either way you will be able to communicate this change at all levels and have the gravitas and credibility required to make this happen.
If this is you and you and you are genuinely looking for a new challenge then this could be a good fit for you.
My client is a very large, worldwide leader in the ERP arena. They have been established for 35 years and have built up and enviable client base of major manufacturing organisations.
They can offer a fantastic salary and benefits package, home working, the opportunity for world-wide travel and excellent career progression.
