YP Supported Living Service Manager

Badenoch & Clark are currently recruiting for a Service Manager on behalf of a charity client who provide support to people aged 16-25 living in supported accommodation. This is initially a minimum of 3 months contract, covering maternity leave.
As Service Manager you will be responsible for the successful delivery of a service supporting clients with complex needs as well as helping with the effective management of the staff and the contract as a whole.
Principle duties will include:
•Driving business planning activities within your contract, ensuring relevant and challenging objective setting and on-going performance tracking
•Using sound financial and accounting principles, manage contract budgets to deliver on corporate and local contract financial targets
•Successfully lead and motivate your team to ensure the championing of and maintenance of a positive local culture within your service
•Work to continuously improve staff competence, ensure ownership of all staff issues and speedy and effective conflict resolution
•Responsible for maintaining quarterly staff succession plans
Our client has requested that the ideal candidate holds previous experience leading staff supporting clients within a complex needs residential service.
