Your new company
A leading manufacturing business is looking to add a Production Planning Manager to their established team. This business is conveniently based just off of the M5 giving great links to South Wales, Gloucestershire, Bristol and Taunton.
Your new role
The Production Planning Manager is reporting into the Operations Manager with a dotted line to the Operations Director. Daily, you will work with the Supply Chain team to ensure that all goods arrive OTIF for delivery. In addition to this, you will work with the outsourced logistics function to ensure that all goods are dispatched on time.
What you'll need to succeed
You must have worked within a managerial role previously, ideally managing a team in excess of 3 planners. Ideally you'll have either 10 years of experience within Production Planning or you'll have gained an APICS qualification. You must be able to effectively communicate with both internal and external stakeholders whilst engaging with employees at all levels from shop floor to board level.
What you'll get in return
As the Production Planning Manager you'll be paid a generous salary of up to £45,000. In addition to this, you'll be entitled to a wide range of company benefits including holidays that grow incrementally with your service.
