Our client are enjoying sustained growth in the energy efficiency sector and are pleased to be opening several new fixed term and permanent positions at this exciting time. They have secured a large contract for one of the UK's largest social housing providers with a planned delivery of multiple energy efficient home improvements for thousands of households. Working as part of our clients busy surveying team you will be responsible for completing compliant PAS2030 surveyors for a number of energy efficient measures including;
* Cavity Wall Insulation
* Loft insulation
* Room in Roof insulation
* Solid Wall Insulation
* Replacement heating
* Renewable technologies
This role may require some unsociable hours for working and set appointments will be booked for you to conduct high quality pre-installation surveys. Services are offered on a national basis therefore we are looking for individuals who can work away from home. Our client encourages all field staff to self-generate work in and around the areas you will be working and have a competitive uncapped bonus structure to incentivise this.
Experience working in the energy efficiency industry is preferred but not essential however you must have previous surveying experience. We are looking for successful candidates to be qualified DEA & GDA approved as there will be a requirement for EPC's to be conducted on each property visited. The successful applicants will have a understanding of energy efficient home improvements and how to identify these is essential. Surveyor training would be provided for the successful candidate(s).
To be successful in this role you will need to be professional, enthusiastic and energetic - we operate in a fast moving environment and no two days are the same. The team are hard workers and are not afraid to get involved and help out as necessary.
Attention to detail and personal integrity - we have high standards, and due to the nature of the work involved, administrative errors must be kept to an absolute minimum.
You should be highly organised and an excellent communicator as your role will require dealing with our customers face-to-face and over the phone to arrange/ conduct your surveys. You should be comfortable and confident in giving energy saving advise to have the ability to identify other ways to support potentially vulnerable people by directing to support agencies and charities.
DEA & GDA qualifications are a must.
Any other relevant surveying / system designer qualifications (none essential)
Starting wage is £24000PA which is negotiable depending on experience.
