Our rapidly growing financial crime team supports many of the firm's leading clients around the UK and EU. We deliver both remediation and managed services on our clients' sites or within our Belfast office, which means you'll have the ability to work with a variety of different people on our diverse set of projects. You'll have the ability to grow and develop your career path, as part of a passionate and knowledgeable team who are credible in financial crime issues including AML, KYC, PEP, sanction reviews, and alert & transaction monitoring. As part of our team, you'll help our clients leverage state of the art data analytics and enterprise software to secure their data, develop controls that detect risk, and develop strategies to effectively and efficiently manage their forensic operations. Simply put, we provide support to our clients by targeting their areas of concern and developing strategies so that they can always be confident in their exposure to risk. Your Main Responsibilities Successful applicants will support clients across a range of financial crime issues, including anti-money laundering (AML), Know Your Customer (KYC), Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs), sanctions, alert and transaction monitoring. Typical responsibilities could include * Perform assessments against a range of policy, guidelines and regulatory expectations within Financial Services * Perform review and subsequent remediation of client files * Contacting and communicating with external sources * Building and maintaining relationships with the wider global PwC network * Understand and proactively keep up to date with the latest regulatory developments and issues which affect our clients * Supporting the development of a variety of Financial Crime propositions and delivery methodologies * Coach others and share knowledge collaboratively to develop the team's skills Requirements Applicants should meet the following requirements Qualifications Preference for graduates, though candidates without degrees will also be considered if they demonstrate relevant experience (minimum of one year's relevant experience). Experience * An understanding of the banking industry and an understanding of retail/commercial financial products/services. * Previous experience within a compliance or AML function is desirable.
