- Hybrid working - 1 day a week in York

The client is led by vets and a team of dedicated, experienced professionals working in collaboration with more than 500 practice sites across the UK with sites in 5 European countries. They deliver the best in veterinary care for clients and patients.

This role is to provide project and change management skills for the delivery of a complex Programme of Practice related system changes across the Group, working within the Practice Operations Team.

The Project Manager will be responsible for establishing guidelines, working within a governance framework to enable the delivery of the Programme.


- Demonstrate effective co-ordination of the programme's deliverables and oversight of any risks and issues arising.

- Participate in planning and designing the programme and proactively monitoring its progress, resolving issues, and initiating appropriate corrective action

- Engage with appropriate teams across the business to ensure delivery of the business change Programme

- Provide oversight for the conversions, working to ensure they are completed on time and within budget, whilst ensuring project teams are supported and deliver results in line with the company culture.

- Drafting and implementing new and improved project processes

- Assisting the Project team in documenting scope and managing change control

- Monitor and track the detailed project plans including resource and budget tracking

- Manage weekly project meetings to provide insight and support in relation to project progress

- Escalate blocking issues

- Ensure project teams have considered and implemented timely, smooth, and effective transition into BAU after Go-live

You need to demonstrate the following capabilities:

- Prince 2 (or equivalent) qualified

- Able to work in a fast-paced multi-faceted environment

- Collaborative and culturally aware

- Ability to analyse and resolve issues, both logical and interpersonal.

- Facilitate communication between staff, management, vendors, and other technology resources within the organisation

- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

- Ideally you will come from an IT background with experience of business change within software/infrastructure/data and operations
