Migration & Delivery Engineer - Project based work

We require an experienced Engineer who has worked at 4th line level and on project-based work including migrations from on premise to Azure.

The opportunity is permanent and will predominantly offer remote working with occasional visits to Leeds. The role may also require some overseas travel on occasion.

As a Project Delivery Engineer, you will have previous experience of working at 4th line support level in addition to experience of project-based work including the movement of on premise IT services into Azure. You will be required to focus mostly on project work, with 50 - 60 projects running at any one time. The projects will include transformation, implementation and migration projects and some involvement in office moves. The role will require an ability to work across multiple projects where needed and for the individual to have a rational and organised approach to the tasks undertaken and an awareness of the need to achieve quality. The successful candidate will be a team player who is able to work independently from instruction in addition to being confident and knowledgeable enough to communicate with all levels of staff such as management, stakeholders, team members.

Skills and Experience

  • Experience at 4th line support and project-based work
  • Experience of moving on premise IT services into Azure cloud
  • Experience of working within a large multinational professional services environment

* Security and Infrastructure/System Security (desirable)
