This is an exciting opportunity to work with a long established housing organisation who are leaders within their fields and who offer excellent career progression.

London Housing Direct is now seeking a Supported Living Business Development & Operations Manager to research and set up supported living accommodation units with high demand.

The LHD works with homeless, vulnerable and excluded people from a diverse range of backgrounds providing housingthrough a variety of high-quality housing and advice services.

Role & Responsibilities:
This is a newly created and exciting role, where the successful candidate will research gaps in the market for different types of supported living concepts.
Once gaps are researched and identified, the model can be set up and operated with the properties we acquire and taken under management.
This is an excellent and unique opportunity to grow a new start up supported living business within our group.
Having been operating in homeless and social housing for 20+ years, we have the housing operation in place, with an excellent team.
The Supported Living Business Development & Operations Manager role is a fantastic opportunity, where we expect someone to come in and slot in easily within our operation.
The role will be part time/ad hoc to start with. Once a credible business plan and model is established and the homes are up and running, this will turn into a long term full time role.
The prospects are very high for this role, with high long term growth prospects for the right candidate.

Mon - Fri, 8am - 5pm

Essential Requirements:

• Stable career history.
• Good telephone manner.
• Able to act professionally at all times.
• Maintain strict confidentiality.
• Must be computer literate.
• Ability to work on your own initiative.
• 2 x excellent references.

Personal Specification:

The Ideal Candidate must have:

  • Excellent organisational skills and be able to work to deadlines
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • A willingness to 'muck in' and carry out a variety of tasks as necessitated by a small business
  • The ability to work on own as well as taking direction from others but most importantly to manage their time effectively.
