Position: Capital Project Manager
Location: Little Wittenham, Oxfordshire
Job type: Full Time, 3 years Fixed Term Contract
Salary: circa £55,000 per annum
About the role:
As part of our mission to give more people access to our amazing work, we are looking for an experienced Capital Project Manager to lead the delivery of an exciting new capital redevelopment of the existing Earth Trust Centre. You will manage the delivery of a number of projects including the built design, hard and soft landscaping, access and a number of elements to excite and engage audiences. All the while maintaining our sustainability and engagement ethos.
Working closely with the Visitor Experience Manager you'll deliver a complex programme of change and so we will expect you to have experience of developing and implementing large (multi-million) capital projects; demonstrable experience of design, procurement and engineering management, coupled with a strong background in managing diverse teams. You'll be experienced in working with established project management tools (PRINCE2 or similar would be an advantage) and a good awareness of financial planning for business.
Your ability to communicate and motivate will be key to your success.
With an eye for detail and a strong 'complete and finish' work ethic - you'll be passionate about exploring and identifying what excites and inspires visitors and will be able to work with a team to bring your vision to life.
You will demonstrate excitement about the Earth Trust's strategic direction and convey a strong belief in your capacity to make a positive impact and to meet targets and objectives.
This role is based at our centre in breath-taking countryside in South Oxfordshire and is a fixed-term contract for 3 years.
