About the company:
A booking system in the eCommerce space with the aim of increasing the number and scale of their users. Their software is innovative and constantly changing, utilising the newest technologies to maintain its position as a market leader. This business has a welcoming, kind, and trustworthy culture. They offer a variety of benefits and flexibility, as well as a fantastic chance for career progression and growth.
Team size and structure:
The UK is their central tech hub, so they're looking to expand out their US teams to EMEA. This team is called the Consumer Apps Team, whose current base of operations is the US. They want to start a whole new team in EMEA, and the plan is to scale this team around you.
Your role is to work closely with the Product Managers to scale out and improve their B2C iOS apps. This role will remain hands-on where you will be developing new features, enhancing already-existing ones, fixing bugs, and implementing unit tests for their top-rated iOS consumer app, which is used by millions of people worldwide. They currently follow A/B test design and reactive and async design patterns, however, are very open to new ideas that could push them forward.
It would stand out if you had any knowledge of payments or localisation, as these are two key areas this team is focussing on. You don't have to be at Senior level yet, as they're open to those looking for a step up, however you will have experience in iOS development predominantly using Swift and SwiftUI. This company has a warm and welcoming culture where you can grow and develop within.
Tech: iOS, Swift, Objective-C and many more! Full stack experience is preferred but not essential.
