I am now looking to recruit a Shift Maintenance Engineer to be based in Doncaster, South Yorkshire. This position will be on a Monday-Friday, Days, Afters and Nights rota with lots of overtime available. Based in Doncaster, South Yorkshire my client have recently gone through a large buyout process as as such now require a new Shift Maintenance Engineer. This client supplies products globally and work within the heavy industry sector. This business employ circa 30 staff in the UK with head office in Doncaster.
As the Shift Maintenance Engineer you will be based at the Doncaster, South Yorkshire manufacturing plant with a wide range of products. The key to this role is ability to work within a production and manufacturing company within the heavy industry maintaining and fault finding on a range of electro-mechanical systems and controls including motors, drives, control panels as well as basic hydraulics, pneumatic, cutting and bending machines as well as machine shop equipment.
This role is responsible for the maintenance and repair of all electrical and mechanical equipment within our clients facility. Knowledge of electrical, motors, drives, controls required and if possible some mechanical exposure to hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, which would be found in cutting and bending machines.
The role requires applicants who have reactive and proactive maintenance and repair experience as well as fault finding experience. These are industrial engineering types of roles and require applicants to work on an early, late and night shift in rotation. Overtime will be available and applicants who are happy to pick this up would be ideal.

- Applicants with fault finding experience would be ideal.
- Applicants should be suitably qualified within electrical engineering ideally 15/16/17th edition (time served or apprenticeship) but should ideally be multi-skilled or electrical with some basic mechanical experience.

The salary for this Shift Maintenance Engineer position will be £30,000-£37,000.
