Project/Program Management - Manages an area of project managers who are the primary contact for internal clients and groups within the organization for large scale projects. The team is responsible for end to end project management activities such as project reporting, project planning, issue / risk identification and tracking, scope management, estimation, client management, relationship management and other project documentation preparation. Serves as a liaison between internal clients and other stakeholders to ensure delivery of large scale projects on time, within budget, and to specification. Acts as the primary interface for a specific business/functional area. Has regular contact among peers within the firm and externally, including regulators and professional organizations. Ensures project delivery is in conformance with company methodologies and standards. Proactively manages project management activities in a large area of the business or functional area. Acts as a subject matter expert and provides guidance on highly complex business or technical issues. Responsible for the development of the strategic direction of the relevant business area. Assists with resolution of the most complex issues on major projects. Leads recruitment strategy and manages and develops teams to maximize their collective contributions. Motivates lower level managers to maximize their contributions and encourage professional growth. Identifies business unit requirements, creates project and process specifications, coordinates with project teams and ensures that high impact projects are on schedule and to budget. Manages an area of multiple project management teams. Responsible for the achievement of area goals and objectives. Qualifications
Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience in business management or related field is required. 15 plus years of total work experience with at least 5-7 years in management preferred. Project Management experience preferred. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and/or Prince2 certification is preferred.
