Job Title: Civils and Fibre Project Manager

Location: Portsmouth, Reading, flexible

Salary: £ based on skills and experience + car/cash allowance + annual bonus

Permanent| Full Time Hours with flexible working patterns available

Our Role

You will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of fibre, civils, data infrastructure projects within the UK. This will include managing the daily activities of internal and contractor resource, as well as project documentation, financial reporting, process management and escalation management to appropriate standards.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must for this role as you will be liaising with customers, Project Managers and other stakeholders to provide regular updates and reviews, as well as dealing with escalated problems and managing customer's expectations.

Additionally, you may be called on to support pre-sales activity including proposal design, tender responses, costings and quotations, site surveys and discovery exercises.

We are looking for candidates who can display a high level of confidence, be able to demonstrate initiative and have the ability to work flexibly within the team in order to ensure that we are delivering projects to time and budget.

Your Skills and Experience

You will be experienced in the management of projects focused on fibre optics, civils, data systems and infrastructure projects within the UK.

You will have a strong understanding of project management best practices including financial management and ideally hold an AMP or PRINCE II certification. Additionally, it would be beneficial to have knowledge of construction design and management regulations.

You will have a strong understanding Civils best practices and ideally hold a NRSWA supervisor certification.

Since this role will include some travel between sites a full UK valid driving license is required.
