Pacific are a Basingstoke-based IT and Audio Visual Solution Provider with a track record of great service and innovative approaches to business problems. The range of our services run from the provision of outsourced IT functions such as our IT Service Desk, to the design, installation and support of Audio Visual for themed attractions, via Corporate AV with boardroom fit-outs and video-conferencing, and Education environments with the latest learning tools. It's all underpinned with our ISO9001 and ISO14001 certified management systems, our participation in major purchasing frameworks, and our own, award-winning, system and service designs.

We are now recruiting for a person to join our field engineering team to work with our customers in Scotland and the North of England. Based at home, you will be scheduled the day before to attend support calls around your area. You will be supplied with a van, phone, tools, and uniform.

We have a 5-person field-engineering team spread around the UK that this role is part of. We will train you on the commonly supported systems using the team in your first couple of weeks, before allowing you to work on your own.

As a field-based role, a degree of flexibility is expected - some days may have longer journies and/or overnight stays, and some may be shorter with less jobs needing to be carried out. However, we do provide notice of longer days, and work to ensure that your days are normally within the standard working hours of Mon-Fri 0.

To be considered for this role we need people who can demonstrate the following attributes;

• Great, friendly manner to represent us well to our clients

• Driving license to be able to drive the van

• Comfortable with manual handling and basic handy skills such as drilling, fixing to walls etc.

• Understanding of IT and AV technology

We will be looking to conduct interviews for the role locally to yourselves once we have some applicants - so good luck and we are looking forward to meeting you.
