My client a leading charity that supports people with learning disabilities are currently looking for a Finance Manager on either a temporary or temporary to permanent basis. The main purpose of the post is: -To deliver a full and effective financial Management to the charity. -To lead on the finance decisions and costings in support of the Business Plan devised by the Board and Directorate. -Prepare management accounts for the Board on a monthly basis and to assist the CEO to prepare the annual budgets. -Provide finance data for business development and fundraising purposes. -To manage the bookkeeping and credit control for the charity. -Support the service lead managers within the charity to become more able to manage their budgets, to make financial decisions for their service and to prepare financial information for grant applications and funding reports Responsibilities Sub-systems and control -Maintain effective internal controls to prevent fraud and to protect the charities assets. -Maintain effective systems for invoicing and credit control. -To ensure that non-finance staff are inducted and trained in financial procedures and systems that they are required to operate in their jobs.
