AV Service Engineer

My client is a provider of Audio Visual solutions to satisfied customers worldwide since 2016. The entirety of their services are provided by their in house team and encompass everything from consultation, design and installation through to end user training and maintenance. They specialise in providing highly bespoke intelligent technology solutions that feature user-friendly integrated control functions and aim to make state of the art technology accessible to all. In an exciting period of growth, my client is now looking to recruit an AV Service Engineer.
The Service Engineer will work in tandem with the Operations Manager to support new and existing Residential and Commercial clients with maintenance contracts.
The service engineer will be required to deliver onsite and remote maintenance support solutions at scheduled times and in accordance with agreed client SLA's. The engineer is expected to arrive in good time for the start of the scheduled maintenance visit and remain until the required service is functioning correctly.
The job entails servicing and installing a wide variety of audio visual systems. The Service Engineer will also be expected to perform on-site testing, commissioning and configuration programming of systems during preventative maintenance visits to ensure everything is in full working order.
The role will also require installation support for the engineering team on occasion.
The ideal candidate will have a number of years' experience in the AV field, be fully up to speed with current AV solutions and trends, will have experience of working alone, have proven good customer services skills, be able to prioritize work, to think laterally to find solutions to technical issues on-site and be able to work under pressure. Must possess a full clean UK driving licence and be willing to travel globally on projects.
