In order to strengthen our recruitment experience and ensure we are bringing in the best staff to support our children and families, we have created a Children's Social Care Recruitment Officer post. This post is situated in the Professional Standards and Quality Assurance team; you will work closely with the Service Manager for PSQA and colleagues in Human Resources.

We are looking for an extremely organised person to:

  • speak to candidates at point of contact to give a personal experience of applying to work in Bexley
  • organise interview panels and support on the day
  • assist managers in completing their interviewing responsibilities and paperwork
  • work closely with Human Resources to ensure candidates are tracked and required steps are taken

You will be confident to work closely with managers and be able to smoothly manage tight deadlines and unexpected obstacles.

Additional duties will include:

  • supporting organisation of twice annual Tri-X procedures manual update, including liaising with external provider
  • assisting with quarterly staff conferences
  • support to Professional Standards and Quality Assurance business support
