Environmental Modeller / Analyst
Salary - to £38,750 depending upon experience (Flexible for exceptional candidates)
Location: Bristol, London or Manchester, Office, Hybrid, or possibly remote

You will be involved in a range of activities within our growing team of consultants working on decarbonisation. You will use your expert modelling / data skills to inform our clients in areas such as carbon emissions and pathways to decarbonisation. The work will be varied and fast paced and may involve project management, bid management, client relationship management, and giving technical advice. Examples of potential projects include: supporting local authorities and major landholders in developing carbon baselines and decarbonisation plans, working with businesses to reduce their carbon footprint, or supporting national or supranational governmental bodies to develop emissions reduction policies.
What would we like to see some (or all!) of in our perfect candidate?
You are an excellent modeller, if in addition you have previous experience of undertaking GHG emissions analysis and/or modelling that would be great
An understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of various carbon accounting standards
Excellent research & data analysis skills, including manipulation of large datasets with strong verbal and written communication skills
The ability to apply creative, practical, common sense thinking to solve real-world problems - we're looking for somebody who can instinctively take something very large and complicated and make it simple!
Experience of analysing scope 3 emissions and territorial emissions at a sub-national level, and you have supported the development of decarbonisation plans or strategies
and you've worked in a Consultancy business.
